So.. um.. I went to BlogHer!

Hehe.

I know I'm so far from a real "blogger" because I can't seem to keep any regular updates going, but I had another reason for going...

One of my online friends, Nikki from onemomtwoboys.com - mentioned waaay back (Jan? Feb??) that she was thinking about going to BlogHer and that her mom was going to go with her. I hadn't really thought about it before, but it sounded like fun & HELLO it was in San Diego!

I took a stab in the dark to see if any other friends wanted to go, and I ended up convincing Jess from dollstudios.com and Nancy from spiffykerms.com - both people I have known online for years and have always wanted to meet. My friend Venessa from dhduo.blogspot.com was also in as she just recently started blogging so I thought she would have a good time!

Anyways - fast forward to the trip. It was 5 days, 4 nights in San Diego - sharing a hotel room with all of those lovely ladies (except for Nikki - who had her own room with her husband and baby).

FUN.

I loved them all so much and I wish that we all lived closer to each other. I had way more fun hanging out with them than I did at the actual BlogHer conference, but it was also fun too.

While we were there, we also met up with our mutual friend Judy (I don't think she blogs yet) and yes, of course, I definitely loved her too!

As there are a trillion and 1 posts out there explaining all that BlogHer was about, I won't really go into it. I wasn't really impressed with the sessions I went to (we skipped out on the 2nd day altogether), but the parties were a blast and so was all the free stuff we got! The expo hall was like a home show - except instead of trying to pull you in and sell you something, they shove free stuff into your hands! We got everything from sinus cleansers, to tempur-pedic pillows, candy, granola bars, speakers, bags, cleaning products, naughty products (shh! sorry family members), tons of office supplies and pens, t-shirts and I even won $47 cash! The list goes on, and on, and on!

I'm not sure if I'll do it next year. I'd really rather just arrange another meet-up with all of the girls. We'll see what happens!

As soon as we got to San Diego we hit the mall!
